Luca and I passed by this machine while walking down the international design center hall in the MIT Museum today. Looks like this was one of the first 3D printers that won an award in 1994.

The fog rolled in just minutes after this shot. Looking forward to spending another couple days on the water 😀

Skye learned how to drive the dinghy today and practiced weaving through the lobster pots. Life skills!

My first two weeks at Docker has been a blast! For the most part, I have been building out a new hosting architecture for our websites on Docker’s Enterprise platform. The office is a corner space that overlooks Bellevue Park, a little bit of the lake and the rooftop deck. It is so nice to be able to go outside and visit with all of the dogs that come to work. They party out on the deck which is fun to watch. I am looking forward to training Ginger to be a well behaved office puppy. In the mornings there is always fruit infused water to enjoy. In the afternoons having a pint of kombucha from the tap is such a treat. Downstairs for lunch there is a great salad bar and taco airstream in the food court. I love the plants inside there!Luca and Skye came by to visit after work last week and had a great time. Luca has been learning JavaScript to earn Fortnite time but still thinks writing code for work is for chumps. YouTube and professional soccer is where the money is at 😎

Life in Bellevue has definitely been a big adjustment from being on the road. Now that we are living in a downtown apartment we spend more time outside in places like the gym, park, library and the awesome entertaining spaces that our building offers. The courtyard behind our apartment also brings new friends and puppies for us to be with. Often the small space can make us feel confined but the easy answer is to just get out and explore more. Life is good! The next post will be a tour of my new office at Docker.
